[comp.sys.apple] MultiScribe GS patch

erast1@cisunx.UUCP (Evan Ron Aussenberg) (04/28/89)

Do you know what would make a great patch? A patch for MultiScribe GS
(3.01c) that would allow a font other than Geneva 12pt to be the default
font.

I would prefer the system font to be the default. What's dumb is that if
you load an appleworks file, Shaston (system font) _is_ the font used except
it's used in it's 12pt incarnation (how many people have shaston 12pt in
their fonts folder) and so I have to convert everything to 8pt still (or
another font).

So, if you make a patch or know of one, then send it my way or to
comp.binaries.apple2. Or, I can send it to comp.binaries.apple2 for you.

Actually, if you load an AppleWorks file, it's trying to get Monaco 12.
If you don't have Monaco 12, it will use Shaston 12. Monaco 12 should
have been on the original system disk.
