Fascinating! Does anyone have a formal text (or even an informal one) on the Net and funding by the DoD? For some reason, governmental use of tax dollars has always interested me... It's also good to know that some of the defense budget it used on wonderful peaceful systems like these. Remember, we are not just users - we are taxpayers. Although I can't agree with all copyright laws, I agree that professional programmers need some of that protection. -=- On a lighter note... Can someone tell me how to use an early Apple Pascal disk to CATALOG itself (and the Pascal based disks included with my //c) ? I've never worked with the language before, and I feel like a kitten in Siberia... (Ah, that CATALOG could also be a program in Pascal. Any help will be appreciated!) -Jason Asbahr -=- UUCP: {nosc, uunet!cacilj, sdcsvax, hplabs!hp-sdd, sun.com} ...!crash!pnet01!pro-nsfmat!pro-europa!jasona ARPA: crash!pnet01!pro-nsfmat!pro-europa!jasona@nosc.mil INET: jasona@pro-europa.cts.com - BITNET: pro-europa.uucp!jasona@psuvax1

They let you select how much info you wish to have listed about the files on a disk (sort of like CAT and CATALOG in BASIC.SYSTEM). -- Matthew Lee Stier | Sun Microsystems --- RTP, NC 27709-3447 | "Wisconsin Escapee" uucp: { sun, mcnc!rti }!sunpix!matthew | phone: (919) 469-8300 fax: (919) 460-8355 |
