I fail to see the utility of Apple making II-users feel they're doing us a favour by supporting the Apple II. If the GS+ had been another Mac it would have been released a long time ago along with the zillion other Macs recently announced. Its not as if the GS+ doesn't exist. Its been in the hands of developers for months, and having piles of them sitting in warehouses doesn't do II-users any good. If putting off the release is one more attempt at promoting the Mac line at the expense of the II-line (by maintaining the lack of horsepower in the II-line flagship), I hope it blows up in Apple's face.
