On the one hand, I don't mind the Macintosh traffic we've been seeing lately. This is because I'm interested in both worlds, and I do subscribe to Info-Mac as well as Info-Apple. But I can see how it bugs those who are not interested in the Macintosh. It is obvious that there are many of us here who ARE interested in the Macintosh (witness the enormous amount of quality information being passed around here about it). For those who are in this group, yet don't subscribe to Info-Mac (or comp.sys.mac), I strongly urge you to do so. It is a moderated news digest, and it would be nice to read some of the current Mac-related traffic in there. For more technical discussion about Macintosh System 7.0 (and other programming-related topics) I recommend subscribing to comp.sys.mac.programmer (wish we had such a thing for the Apple II series... like a comp.sys.apple2.programmer). While I've enjoyed this barrage of Macintosh traffic that has swooped down on this newsgroup, I'd rather keep my newsgroup reading more organized by seeing it in its own place. Consider this a positive vote for having the information at all, as well as a vote for keeping it in its rightful place. --Morgan UUCP: crash!pnet01!pro-sol!mdavis ProLine: mdavis@pro-sol ARPA: crash!pnet01!pro-sol!mdavis@nosc.mil MCI Mail: 137-6036 INET: mdavis@pro-sol.cts.com APE, BIX: mdavis
