Ok Ok Ok, everyone seems to be in favor of resource forks, and, if their technical details have been out to the developers for as long as Matt says, then everything should be OK. I just wrote a letter to Glen Bredon asking him what he was doing with ProSel (I gather he doesn't have any kind of e-mail address reachable by the internet); I'll let y'all know what I hear. And thanks for the info on the Pc Transporter problem -- when I talked to them after I fist got it they insisted there was nothing they could do about it; sounds like time for a call to AE. TMPLee@dockmaster.ncsc.mil P.S. -- ProSel 16 DOES have incremental backup and restore, which is the whole reason I got it. Sure it's non-incremental is fast, but it still takes a LONG time to swap 40 disks or so to backup a 40Meg drive.
