Version 1.1 of the C NuFX archive viewer has been posted to comp.binaries.apple2. It incorporates a number of bug fixes, and some major rewrites of code that didn't quite work when compiled on a VAX. A real seek routine has been substituted to make things run faster on large archives. The only difference in output is the position in the file of each thread. Thus, if somebody out there wanted to write an extraction/decompression program (hint, hint), all you need to do is seek to the given file position. Has anybody tried compiling this on a non-UNIX system (e.g., APW)? I'd be interested in hearing how that turns out... -- fadden@cory.berkeley.edu (Andy McFadden) ...!ucbvax!cory!fadden labc-3dc@widow.berkeley.edu (expiring soon) < just two more days... two more... >
