SnowTerm v1.00 bug list:
Version 1.00 has a couple of verified bugs which have been corrected in
newer versions.
KNOWN BUGS:
The break command (to send a break character) turns the DTR handshaking
signal off. This hangs up the phone line, unless you've got the modem's
DIP switches configured to ignore DTR -- in which case the Hangup command
to hang up the phone line won't work!
Those poor souls who have a single drive and need to switch back and forth
between their system disk and applications disk beware! After launching
SnowTerm, the tool loader asks you to put the system disk back in. SnowTerm
then tries to read some files from the disk and directory where the SnowTerm
executable file is located. Your system disk is in the drive and so SnowTerm
can't find the files it's lookin for and tells you so. Unfortunately the
only option SnowTerm gives you at this point is to Quit. Most unfriendly!
The work around is to put SnowTerm and the two font files REGFONT and SPECFONT
on your system disk.
