The little I know is this. They are sisters (obviously) who began in the Greenwich Village folkie-type scene. Maggie and Terre released an album as a duo before Suzzy joined up with them - I've been searchng used record stores for it. If you want to hear Terre Roche doing some decidedly different singing, try and pick up the album "Exposure" by Robert Fripp. It's in the delete bins - and it also has Pete Hamill, Darryl Hall (!) and Peter Gabriel on it... decvax!utcsrgv!tugs Steve Hull

The Roches also have a brother who's now performing, though independently of his sisters.

There has been some discussion as to whether or not the a cappella version of Hallelujah Chorus sung by the Roches (not Roaches, but pronounced the same) was recorded on any of their albums. It is on their album "Keep On Doing" released in late 1982. I hope this helps the person who originally inquired about it!! -- Peg Streff IX AT&T Bell Laboratories, Naperville, IL ihnp4!ihuxs!peg
