I normally don't read this newsgroup and I'm posting this message for a friend. A friend of mine is looking for a utility that will transfer (in both directions) files created un Apple II CP/M to DOS 3.3. I've heard of a utility that does this, but have never been locate. Please send replies to either of the following: Bill Mihalo uucp: att!gargoyle!apcvxa.uchicago.edu!nmpwem2 internet: nmpwem2@apcvxa.uchicago.edu Bitnet: nmpwem2@uchimvs1 or Fend Dao Liu (person I'm posting this for) BITNET: $MPAFDL@LUCCPUA

The Chameleon program will do what you want. It is available in files 87-00030 and 87-00031 on the APPLE2-L list server at the BITNET node BROWNVM. To obtain these files, send the command GET APPLE2-L "file-number" to LISTSERV@BROWNVM. -------------------------------------------------------------------- J.
