I have had my IIgs since December. From the first I noticed that if I hit (struck, pushed, verb of your choice) a key very rapidly it would not register. This occurs with telecommunications programs as well as local applications such as Appleworks. Is this normal or should I go see my dealer and take advantage of his extended 1 year warranty? If you would like to try it for yourself: 1. Curl your middle finger and place your thumb over the tip. 2. Push with your middle finger against this restraint 3. When the pressure reaches max, quickly pull your thumb away 4. If the middle finger is aimed, it will hit a key a glancing blow 5. Under normal circumstances the key push will not register. (The above five steps can be reduced to the instruction that you "thwak" a key with your middle finger.) Trying the same thing with a //e and you will see that all keypresses are registered. At the present time I'm in no danger of challenging the speed typists of the world, however, experience and a natural clumsyness cause the above sceniro to occur more often than I would like.
