As an A2-Central subscriber, I've just send in for my upgrade to Appleworks 3.0. However, how does a non-A2-Central subscriber (e.g. my synagogue) that never registered with Claris get an upgrade? Ah...but why not just get a retail number...and order direct from the whole-
saler? Then you can buy it for $102 now..(joke) and buy it for $99 later.
Hmmmm must have something to do with volume or something eh?

Nah, more like $180 .. that seems to be the discount price for AppleWorks 2.1
through mail order currently..{
