As per your link of June 21, here are the Canadian details.

The AppleWorks 3.0 upgrade program in Canada will consist of the following:

1. An upgrade to 3.0 from any previous version of AppleWorks is $99.00.

2. An upgrade to 3.0 from any previous version of MultiScribe, AppleWriter or
any other commercial word-processing package for the Apple II is $129.00.

3. The upgrade will be free to purchasers of AppleWorks 2.1 on or after May 5,
1989 as long as proof of purchase is provided.

AppleWorks 3.0 will be available in late summer. Upgrades in Canada are
handled through Bowdens Information Services. Their number is 1-800-668-8948.

The special offer that is mentioned is a quick and easy way for registered
users to upgrade. Instead of sending in a master disk and cheque to request an
upgrade, REGISTERED users will be able to order their upgrades over the phone
by providing a credit card number. Since all registered Canadian users are on
our database, we can easily verify ownership of product, therefore not
requiring the mailing of a master disk.

And finally, regarding the SuperMacros offer, that is an in-box offer included
in all US product. Beagle Brothers has not extended the offer to include
Canada.

Thank you for your inquiry. If you have any further questions, drop me a link.
