[comp.sys.apple] apple2-l archive

cneufeld@pro-generic.cts.com (Christopher Neufeld) (07/03/89)

I have heard much about the apple2-l archive on brownvm.bitnet. My UNIX
account has only rudimentary ability to communicate with the outside world,
and does not accept nodenames in 'ftp'. Can anyone tell me whether I can
connect to this archive using anonymous 'ftp', and if so, what is the IP#.
Finally, if I can get through, is there anything special I should know?
  Thank you.

If you see a .tar or .Z or .tar.Z then don't forget to
set bin!

Now, I'm new here, and this may seem like a somewhat dim question, but now that
I have all these addresses, WHAT DO I DO WITH THEM? I'm probably supposed to
know this, but unfortunately I don't. Any help you can give me would be greatly
appreciated.
