Got a new Apple II only newspaper in the mail the other day, called "II at Work, Apple II Productivity News". It's edited by Barney Stone, the author os DB Master. The issue I got, Spring '89, appears to be the first issue. It looks like a real nice edition to the publications devoted to the Apple II world. Subsriptions will be free to qualified readers. If you use an Apple II (or compatible) computer in your business or your profession, or for some other "productivity" application you will probably qualify for a subscription. There was a subscription form in this issue that you had to fill out, but I'm sure if you wrote to the publisher, he would send you one. Their address is: II at Work P. O. Box 3200 Maple Glen, PA 19002 215-643-5940 I can really see the need for such a publication. There are lots of people that use Apple II's in business and in their profession very successfully, in spite of Apple Computer, Inc. not encouraging such use. It's a complaint that's been voiced many times by business users. The point they try to make in this issue is that all of us have to work to raise the visibility of the Apple II as a "productivity machine", so more users will come into the market, and so we those producers can make even more newer and better software and hardware to help you do what you do ... and so on. proline: pro-novapple!daveharv uucp: crash!pro-novapple!daveharv arpa: crash!pro-novapple!daveharv@nosc.mil Internet: daveharv@pro-novapple.cts.com DIALCOM: 164:NVC100 Northern Virginia Apple Users Group >pro-novapple< 703-671-0416/300-2400 baud
