People have been posting messages saying you can't delete forked files under system software 5.0 with ProDOS utilities. How about backing up hard drives? When 5.0 comes out and I install it on my hard drive, will I still be able to back it up using something like Backup on the ProSel utilities? Or will ProSel have to be updated? Hey Matt or Dave will there be an update to the Backup II utility and will it be part of the System Disk 5.0 release. If not when and how. I just got a letter from Prof. Bredon today, and he tells me there is a
planned release of an updated ProSel 16 in September. I would assume that it
is scheduled to be released at the time of, or soon after, the official
release of GS/OS 5.0; and I'm nearly certain that it will answer most of our
concerns about the new operating system and the ProSel package. So, hold on
to your seats, grit your teeth, and wait... It'll get here someday! :)
