All of you that have seen "Animal House", raise your hands. Good! Now, All of you that have seen "Twilight Zone - The Movie", raise your hands. Wonderful! O.K. now, all of you that raised your hands both times, pay attention. Everybody else, go back to whatever you were doing. As you may recall, at the end of "Animal House", one-liners were flashed on the screen to tell what became of the various individuals in the film. The Omega frat ROTC officer, Doug Nedermeyer, was 'killed in Vietnam by his own men'. Got it? O.K., now, on to part two. In "Twilight Zone - The Movie", in the first story concerning Vic Morrow as the bigoted man forced to experience the lives of those whom he was prejudiced against, he ends up in a Vietnamese swamp being shot at by a group of stoned American soldiers. For those of you that may not have caught the comment, right after the shooting ceases, one soldier nervously whispers to another, "I told you we shouldn't have shot Lt. Nedermeyer!!" Fancy that! By the way, John Landis, who directed "Animal House", also directed TZ-TM, and he co-wrote the Vic Morrow story. Enjoy, Mark Cook HP-PCD Corvallis, OR ...hplabs!hp-pcd!mfc
