I am rather new to the PC world-I have a IIgs and was wondering if someone could tell me how to use a binary file that has been downloaded and is of type TEXT ? The particular file is some shareware that I downloaded from compuserve. It has some lines of documentation at the begining and then the binary code. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also could someone give me some info on APPLE2-L ? thanks, Dan

If you don't know what 'ftp' is, start by asking your local system administrator for information (there are BOUND to be hand outs and online help); ask about 'anonymous ftp.'
