>This is a test post. >(hope everything goes okay) Test messages should *NEVER* be posted to a list (it's rather like the doofuses on CB Channel 19 who can't think of anything more intelligent to say than "radio check"). If, out of all the messages that comp.sys.apple delivers each day, you can't think of one tiny comment about anything and just *have* to send a message an inane as "test," send it to info-apple-request@brl.mil (or any Internet-list-request@host.dom). List owners generally will be happy to tell you that you can indeed send email to the World. Info-apple-request, BTW, was once foolhardy enough to advertise his receptivity to such messges (he probably has a "standard reply" just waiting for such occasions). ** I usually simply send these flames to "From:" but thought this once I'd see if I can't head off a whole rash of these things (something about the heat of Summer seems to cause these :-( Murph Sewall Vaporware? ---> [Gary Larson returns 1/1/90] Prof. of Marketing Sewall@UConnVM.BITNET Business School sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@mitvma.mit.edu [INTERNET] U of Connecticut {psuvax1 or mcvax }!UCONNVM.BITNET!SEWALL [UUCP] (203) 486-5246 [FAX] (203) 486-2489 [PHONE] 41 49N 72 15W [ICBM] -+- I don't speak for my employer, though I frequently wish that I could (subject to change without notice; void where prohibited)
