Does anyone out there have an Apple Cat ? If you do, have you used any version on Kermit that will work with it? If you have, let me know via mail to my account ( CN0001JT @ UKCC ) .. Thanks

I am trying to get Kermit to work on a Franklin Ace 1000 with an Applecat 212 modem. If anyone has done this or knows how to do this, I would like to hear from them. In particular I can't figure out which driver to tell the EZ install exec to use. It seems that which ever one I choose, I can't get Kermit to connect to anything. -=- | Mark Geary, Department of Computer and Information Science | | The Ohio State University, 2036 Neil Ave., Columbus OH USA 43210-1277 | | ...!{pyramid,killer}!osu-cis!geary (614) 292-0915 | | geary@cis.ohio-state.edu or geary@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu |

Mark I tried to get Kermit to work on a IIE with an Applecat installed (modle number unknown), and I could not get it to work. I ended up using Proterm, which worked fine. I am not saying that you can't get it to work, just relaying my experience. In the docs it says that somebody found out that kermit would work with the Applecat using Apple's driver, but I could not get it to work.
