Someone, please help! Unfortunately, I'm working with an Apple ][+ and trying to use IIPLUS.UNSHRINK on it. I suppose just this much would typically be well and good, but my situation is far from satisfactory. My problem arises whenever the "CHOOSE PATH:" or "UNSHRINK TO 140K DISK:" menu-boxes come up, when the program proceeds to hang, doing nothing with any keystrokes except "o", which makes it just list devices online again. The top one is inversed, as if one might be able to casually scroll through inversed, current selections until one has decided at which time one might hit return or space and gleefully be on one's way. With my setup, however, nothing can be selected from this menu. It's strange, because the equivalent portions of IIPLUS.SHRINKIT work fine, and the "UNSHRINK FROM:" (a larger box) menu does too. I've managed to get files unshrunk by avoiding the smaller 'window' menu altogether via having PREFIX set to the desired disk before doing a "-IIPLUS.UNSHRINK, Dn", where n is the drive in which the desired disk is not. Anyway, I'm running things on my Rana One drives (40 track) controlled by my Rana controller (4 drive capacity). I've two such drives, and none other, so I haven't been able to troubleshoot with other equipment yet... I'll hopefully soon be getting a Sider (5 megs) or two, so any pointers concerning these and ][+'s are very welcomed as well. First and foremost, though, I need to unpack the many NuFX'd things I've accumulated. BTW, what does NuFX stand for?? It's bugging me... also, how about "GNU"? ignorance ain't piss mark williams ez000236@vega.ucdavis.edu
