I got a (perhaps stupid, but i can't find the answer to it) problem that keeps bothering me. When I'm printing from applesoft to my printer (imagewriter), the printer starts after 80 characters a new line, even when using 17 characters per inch. How can I print more than 80 characters per line ? Jan. Jan De Kinder DEKINDER@BANUIA51 DEKINDER@PHS.UIA.AC.BE

HOWEVER I've discovered that with my Grappler+ and Epson MX100 that POKE 33,33 turns off the CR/LF's from Applesoft to the printer as well as to the display (that is if I POKE 33,33 either within the program or before I RUN it the printer will supply its own CR/LF when it gets to the end of the carriage).
