[comp.sys.apple] EOF is Ctrl-Z

According to my ASCII chart, Control-Z is SUB (or SUBstitute). The only
filing systems I know of that use ^Z as EOF is CP/M and MS-DOS (which is CP/M
is Microsoft's clothing). In the UNIX / C world, Control-D is normally used
to signal EOF when typed from the console. However, smart OS's don't rely on
a "character" to signal EOF in a file.
