[comp.sys.apple] SCSI on the //c?

tp@cbnewsm.ATT.COM (thomas.a.pierce) (08/21/89)

The //c has a 'quasi-'smartport on the back. I'm sure it must be possible
to convert Smarport calls to SCSI calls (and anything coming from the drive
to something the //c can handle). Is there anything on the market to do this? (No, I don't mean the Chinook CT-20c either, a 64 meg Seagate-a la HomeBrew :-)

Backup II does backups, but full size, right?? Could ShrinkIt (sorry to put
you on the spot Andy :-) be modified to shrink the entire contents of a HD to
a whole bunch of floppies(when one is full tell you to stick in another) and
vice-versa. The extra time spent Shrinking would be well worth the $$ in
floppies!! Thanks for all replies !!
