I asked on the net a while ago if it was possible to hook an Apple IIe power
supply up to an Apple IIc. I tried it and it is indeed possible, although it
is DEFINITELY not a matter of plug-and-go. Anyone who's interested, please
send me e-mail.
With an AE 6-amp power supply (FOUR TIMES the capacity of the IIc's standard
power supply), my IIc hums along quietly, with very little heat, and NO MORE
VIDEO DISTORTION. And of course the 512K Z-RAM Ultra II RAM card now works.
