Anyone know anything about AE's Sonic Blaster? The description looks pretty neat, but des nayone actually have one of these yet? What's your opinion? Is it any better than your average digitizer programs? --HACK-MAN UUCP: {amdahl!bungia, uunet!rosevax, chinet, killer}!orbit!pnet51!hackman ARPA: crash!orbit!pnet51!hackman@nosc.mil INET: hackman@pnet51.cts.com

What's your opinion? Is it any better than your average digitizer > programs? I've got a Sonic Blaster in my machine and haven't had any complaints with it other than an occasional error in the software. The digitizing software is easy to use and comes with an adequate manual explaining how to install both the card and how to use the software. My only real complaint with the Sonic Blaster lies with the fact you must adjust the volumn from little pots on the card in the machine under the cover under the System Saver under the monitor! How about something in the control panel guys? Also, you'll find that many of your favorite games do not utilize stereo and you'll only get sound from one channel. Maybe AE should include dual channel mono sound in this fictionalized control panel entry I'd mentioned in the above paragraph. All in all I like it! _______________________________________________________________________________ |UUCP: [ucsd, nosc] ..!crash!pro-europa!paul | Texas SysOps Unite! | |INET: paul@pro-europa.cts.com | Join COSUARD!
