The other day, a friend brought over a game called Hacker II (GS
version, original disk) as it has a problem. I can't seem to find a
solution to this one: While trying to run the main program, it seems to
be in a continuouse loop with "Unclaimed sound interupt" on the screen.
I have verified the disk, and all the files on this disk (using Copy II+).
All appears to be good. Anyone have any ideas? Mahalo in advance.

I saw this one with MDIdeas sound digitizer software after I upgraded my IIGS ROM. I think your best recourse might be to contact the publisher and request an update that works with the new ROM. I've noticed that a LOT of IIGS games quit working after the ROM upgrade.

I seem to remember that this is what happens when you try to use the version of Hacker II written for the old ROMs (0/1.0) on the new ones (1/2.0). There are two versions of Hacker II--one for ROM 00 and one for ROM 01. How long has your friend had the program? If he just bought it recently, he might try returning it for the update.
