Well, after the local ProLine node went down, I lost ALL contact with
info-apple... Now that I have PC Pursuit, I'm back on... anybody who'd like to
send me mail to cheer me up or re-welcome to the net (any takers?) are more

okay, now that's done, here's what I feel about this FST business...
FSTs are a MAJOR improvement in the computing power of the IIgs. If you work
on an MS-DOS machine at work, all you'd have to do is pop the disk from work
in your IIgs, and go to your favorite WP. Isn't that nice & simple? The IIgs
would REALLY be favored among the non-tech-computing group of folks, and could
easily add to the sales and number of IIgs owners... Now all we need are a
bunch of folks willing to 'have -a-go' at it...
Also, now that I've truly gotten into heavy programming, I've run into
a very simple problem. How do you send a text string to a port? What I'm
trying to do is to send 'ATES0=0S11=50' to my modem. That's all... and I'm
stuck on that!!! :( Ah, well...
