>(or the day before), the files are available by anonymous 'ftp' from
cunixc.cc.Columbia.Edu. The instructions have been posted before
>(FREQUENTLY), so if you need details email me.

Murph, how can I (assuming that I can) access these archives or other sources
of files for my system? There are many references to posting interesting or
useful little programs for use on an Apple II that I'd like to check out.
Maybe you can post a little instuction guide, or e-mail me one? Any help will
be (of course) greatly appreciated =)

From UUCP archives are available only with great difficulty (or through
the good fortune of using a host that LISTSERVs <which are capricious on
this particular point> will reply by mail to) or not at all.

In addition, there is the matter of WHO is paying the phone bills for
files shipped to Pro-Line sites (the EXPERT on that matter is your own
sysop Morgan Davis <mdavis@pro-sol.cts.com>). APPLE2-L files ARE redistrbuted
to Pro-Line sites by Bill Blue <bblue@crash.cts.com>. Ask Morgan or Bill
about access, and whether any archives are maintained with CTS (Crash Time
Sharing).

I send this reply to comp.sys.apple so that others will (I hope) recognize
that UUCP access to archives is pretty much a case by case problem (domain
style addresses help, but do not totally solve things).
