I just want to let people know that I have mailed out version 1.9 of my
ProDOS8 LIST utility to my 13 registered users. Somewhere down the line
it will be available on the various information systems and eventually I'll
get around to shipping it to apple2-l. I'm already working on the next
version, so comments and bug reports are welcome. Version 1.9 fixes some
nasty problems in the first release, such as: LIST will no longer crash on
subdir's with more than about 125 files; LIST will no longer generate the '$40
Bad Pathname' error which some users were experiencing with certain hardware
configurations. Unfortunately, since LIST is still a ProDOS8 application (for
now), it cannot handle displaying GS/OS extended files like CDEVS.
Also, version 1.9 adds onscreen support for the new AWP printer
commands in AWKs 3.0.
