Can anyone tell me if I will have to wait long for a SCSI format Magneto-Optical Disk (CD RAM drive). I know they exist for the NeXT computer and have been demonstrated. They hold over 400MB and use interchangeable disks. They are priced at about $2000 for that computer. I would like a mass-storage system, but I am holding off on buying a hard drive because I don't expect the MODs to take long. Comments? Predictions? Thank you for any information you may supply. -- Christopher Neufeld....Just a graduate student | I.B.M.: cneufeld@pro-generic.pnet01.crash | Installed By Mistake griffin@helios.physics.utoronto.ca | I've Been Mugged "Don't edit reality for the sake of simplicity" | <Insult IBMs this space>
