The Learning Center here on campus wants to be able to print to the laserwriter (which is connected to some GS's and Mac's with Appletalk) from a PC. After talking with Gary Jennings with Apple in Charlotte, he told me I needed a LocalTalk PC Card and the appropriate cables to connect to the existing network. Well, I've installed the card, and I believe I need an Appletalk software package. Is this true? Can I just use the card as if it was a serial or parallel port? What else is involved here?
