I am using a Datalink 2400 modem. I have been trying to write a macro with the software. I want to execute a file which will be a menu. From that menu I want to be able to chain a module to dial a BBS. What I need to know is How do I chain a program from another program using the Datalink 2400 software. I am using an Apple IIE computer. Thank you. Ronie@cup.portal.com

Comment to message from: portal!cup.portal.com!RONIE@uunet.uu.net (RONALD LEE FERGUSON) If you're using DataTerm you can't execute another BAS or SYS or BIN program directly from DataTerm. A DataTerm script can CHAIN to another script (at least I think it can.. I know TIC can do this but can't remember if this CHAIN command is in DataTerm). If you have something like ProSEL or another selector that will let you set up a que then you could have DataTerm QUIT to the selector and let the selector handle the transition to the next program you need to run.
