[comp.sys.apple] BBS IN SF AREA TO USE DURING APPLEFEST

tomk@pro-sol.cts.com (Tom Kelly) (09/20/89)

I am considering bringing my computer and modem with me when I go to AppleFest
in SF. Does anyone know of any local boards there where I could logon. Also
how to get a account and password before I get there. If you are a sysop in
the area, please send me E-Mail with a username and password that I may use
while I am in SF (setup a account for me). An idea might be allow alot of
visitors "guest" accounts.
WHAT? ME A MODEM ADDICT? NAW!! WELL MAYBE JUST A BIT.

If you buy a month's worth of 'portal' (in Cupertino), you'll not have
access to comp.sys.apple and all sorts of other AMAZING :-) stuff ($10).

The contact is John Little <crash!portal!jel> (from a ProLine
<jel@cup.portal.com> or <jel@portal.uucp> to the rest of the World ;-)

GRACIOUS (and holy typos Batman), where'd that "not" come from??? I
sometimes have editing problems, but usually the 'gremlins' don't turn
my thoughts completely around on me! (apologies to the folks at portal).
