Dave Lyons was talking about NDA's and how messy it is for them to use tools which their host application may or may not have started up. Is the Control Panel to be taken as an example NDA? It would appear that it starts up the List Manager (if isn't started up already when the CtlPanel is opened) and shuts it down, not when the window is deactivated or closed, but when the NDA gets its shutdown call. I was wondering about it because I'm starting to work on an NDA that uses the List Manager. Well, it's a DA for now. Any news on when CDev specifications will be published? That doesn't sound like particularly polite behavior for an NDA--if that's what it's doing, your own NDAs still need to be as polite as they can. >[...] Any news on when CDev specifications will be published? They're in this month's batch of File Type Notes (file type $C7), which developers should have any day. It's already available on the FTP site (the path is ~ftp/pub/dts/aii/ftn/ftn.c7.xxxx). >Scott Lindsey |"Cold and misty morning.
