[comp.sys.apple] the best apple

  If I could have any Apple computer that I wanted, it would have to be an
original Apple I. Preferably with a serial number less than 2.

Ever take a look at the schematics for the original Apple II? All SSI and
MSI parts... one semester of digital design was all I needed to fully
understand the schematics for the entire computer...

If nothing else, the Apple II should live on as an example of how a little,
very basic technology can be synthesized into a really neat computer.

If your going to dream in that vein, why not the Cray (it IS Apple's
computer :-)

You take Apple I serial number 1, I'll happily accept the $$$ that followed
from having conceived it ;-)

      I bought the latest computer;
      it came fully loaded.
      It was guaranteed for 90 days,
      but in 30 was outmoded!

Even better..... I'd love to go back in time and be a part of the "Homebrew
Computer" club.. <sigh> History in the making and I was in Goosebay, Labrador
kicking snow out of my undies and loading missiles in 40 degree below zero
weather...
