There was a brief discussion awhile back on the commercial possibilities of a 900 number BBS. FYI, there now is one! On page 154 of October's PC Computing (yea, I know, a PC magazine, boo! hiss!) there is an ad for ALINE, $0.45 the 1st minute, $0.30 each additional minute, 1200 baud access. For info (voice I think) the number is (212) 826-3894. The actual service is (900) 468-8888. I have not tried it, and I'm in no way associated with Aline, or endorsing it, just passing the information along. I would have sent this just to the folks previously discussing it, but I didn't keep their address.

I would need to hear of some pretty great stuff from users that have tried it before even considering logging on. Wait... No, even then I couldn't afford it ;) lhaider@pro-sol.cts.com
