I am surprised by the lack of articles on "Razor's Edge". This is a very worthwhile movie. The tone reminds me of Warren Beatty's "REDS"; tracing the development of the central hero over a number of years. Since the characters all have their childhood and high school years in common, it also could be compared to "Diner". One could make a case against Bill Murray's lack of passion in his role. He may place to tight riegn on his character. However, I found his debut in a major, serious role to be a success. OK, so the last quarter of the movie falls into some stereotypical Hollywood scriptwriting. I still highly recommend this movie. Pat Riley

I rate The Razor's Edge a good two dollar movie (cheap show) but not a good four dollar movie. It was relatively well done but there didn't seem to be much point to it in the end. It went about things on a grand scale but it didn't seem to have any sharp edges to turn on. The final confrontation was ok but not enough.
