[comp.sys.apple] Scsi C

I have a SCSI card with my 20 meg apple hard drive. What improvements
does rev. C of the scsi chip offer and is it worth the $100?

The upgrade is free, and it allows you to use GS/OS 3.0 so it is
definitely worth it.

Gee this magazine article in front of me says the upgrade to rev. C on the
Apple SCSI card is free. If your dealer is trying to charge you $100.00, I
would seriously consider calling his district manager and complaining. Course,
that's just me talking.

Rick, Dave, et.al., what is your opinion?

I believe that the difference is that the Rev. C can handle 60 megs. (I
wouldn't count on that being the only difference...)

While we are on the discussion of SCSI... Does anyone know if there is a
way to trick ProDos 8 (any version) into accessing the extra 20 megs on a
Seagate St277n that it can't get to? I can only get to 40 of the 60 megs
and I would really like the extra Megs.
