[comp.sys.apple] stupid kermit question clarification

Sorry about my last question with kermit;it seems I wasn't clear.  The problem
I have is not the even parity, but the fact that when the VAX sends even parity
it always does it in seven bit format.  When I get it to do 8-bit quoting the
files still come out useless.
