Does anyone remember the slot expansion boxes for Apple II's? They were
around a while back (like 4 years ago), and they're made by some
company "mountain -------" or something like that. Basicly, it was a
box that would expand your ports OUTSIDE of your machine, and also give
you a couple more slots to work with.
Im interested in scrounging a few of these up, so if anyone has a
couple in the back room (If you have a computer store), I'll gladly
take them off of your hands! Or if you can steer me towards a dealer of
OLD Apple equipment..please reply. (if the know the REAL NAME and
MANUFACTURER...set me straight on that too.)
Thanks in advance...

I know what you are talking about with the Mountain thing. What it does is it
lets you have 3-5 or whatever peripherals connected to 1 slot. Of course,
there is an external switch to select with peripheral you want to use for the
time being. I not sure about this, but I think on some there are serial AND
paralell ports on the back. I'd have to dig out the Nibble Magazine, but I
don't think they are that old.
