[comp.sys.apple] ProSel-16: YES or NO? If YES, WHERE?

jstern@orion.oac.uci.edu (Jeff Stern) (10/06/89)

I am considering getting ProSel-16 because I am tired of GS/OS's slowness.
Anyone know whether it is compatible with all //gs software (for instance,
will it still launch AWGS, etc.)?

Also, anyone got Glen Bredon's address and how much ProSel16 costs? Thanks.
Jeff Stern.

Your decision to buy ProSel 16 is fine, but I think your reasoning is
misguided: ProSel 16 runs -under- GS/OS. GS/OS is the operating system,
and it's still hiding in there whether you're using the Finder, AWGS,
ProSel 16, or whatever.

I don't know of any incompatibilies; if any turn up, I'm sure Glen will
do whatever is necessary to resolve them.

521 State Road, Princeton NJ 08540. ProSel 16 is $60 and includes ProSel 8.
