This is a strange problem, I formated a 5.25 disk with 5.0.2 with two 3.5 disks (one system, and one a program disk) and copied a program from drive 2 of the 3.5 disk to the 5.25. If the second disk is not in drive two of the 3.5, or the computer only has 1 3.5 drive, then the 5.25 is recognized as a disk that needs to be formatted. If I insert the program disk I copied the file from, then the 5.25 disk would be recognized. So..I tried taking out the disk from drive 2(3.5) and reformatted the 5.25 disk. This fixed everything. I did not have time to single out the problem. ???? No big deal, but the person I gave my program to(almost didn't fit on the small disk anyway) thought I was trying to mess with their mind. scott hutinger mmpr004@ecncdc.bitnet

Maybe I formatted the 5.25 disk with 5.0? If this is the case, it may be something to watch out for. Anyone hear of such things? scott hutinger mmpr004@ecncdc.bitnet
