I recently ran into a 'complaint' from a IIgs language vendor who was loudly
complaining that when he and others suggested that Apple create and support a
common, usable, stack/parameter format standards, etc. that they had been
unable to get cooperation from folks at Apple. Now this occured a year or
more ago and with the new cooperative spirit in the Apple II Tech Support
arena I wondered if there was anything in the works to establish standards so
that developers (even freeware ones) would be able to develop libraries of
subroutines, common header files, etc that would be able to be used between C
compilers, even in the case of binary libraries between pascal and c, etc.
I would sure like to be able to see folks be able to mix APW, TML, Orca, etc.
language libraries.
