I am looking seriously for a graphing program for my GS. I need it to be able to do scatter plots, line graphs w/ both linear and log axes, and horizontal and vertical histograms, minimum. It would be very convenient if the program could read data from AppleWorks (3.0) as well. Previewing the graph before printing is nearly mandatory, as well. I have been using Cricket Graph on (*ashamed look*) on the Mac and am loath to admit it but find the graphic interface appropriate for that sort of work. Can anyone suggest a program? I know there is TimeOut:Graph and I believe I remember hearing something called GraphIt mentioned. Can someone please describe the capabilities and limitations of these or any other graphing programs available for the GS to me? I and my data thank you. Network Comment: to #1054 by SASQUATCH%ALBION.BITNET@cornellc.cit.cornell.edu There used to be a couple programs right at the beginning of the GS intro that did business graphs. One was called Visualizor (or something like that). It didnt have ALL the types of graphs that you listed, but had something that I thought WAS neat - the user could provide a SHR background for the graph! That way you could do superimposed images, etc. It was neat. Then, there used to be some places that advertised in CallApple, Nibble, etc. concerning some other Graph drawing programs. I cannot find one of the ads right now though :-( . I havent heard of any of these lately. Maybe someone should port GNUplot to the GS? -- Larry W.
