Just to clarify a couple of things:  Davex is indeed Shareware, and it runs
under ProDOS 8 (it's a DAL Systems product).  ProSel 16 is *commercial*, by
Glen Bredon, and available directly from him (not on any legitimate online
service, except as uploaded by Glen in encrypted form).  ECP 16 is, I believe
Freeware these days (please correct me if I'm wrong, anybody).  ProSel 16
and ECP 16 are APW-compatible *to a degree* (not enough that you can run
the APW/ORCA editor or languages from them, though).

Yeah, ECP16 is freeware now as is ECP8.  Source code has been released for
ECP8 for anyone who wants to hack on their shell a little and I'll probably do
the same for ECP16 after I add a few more things to it (on a time available
basis so this may take awhile given how little time I have these days).
