There were some people talking about it a while back. What ever became of it? Osiris

I'd like to add unstuffing to gs/shrinkit sometime, but that's probably a while off -- you just have to use the arc 5.12 source code to get it to work. You also have to contend with the way that stuffit stores files. andy -- Andy Nicholas InterNET: shrinkit@moravian.edu Box 435 uucp: rutgers!liberty!batman!shrinkit Moravian College GEnie: shrinkit Bethlehem, PA 18018 America Online: shrinkit CIS: 70007,3141

How hard would it be for Andy to implement a version of ShrinkIt Mac? The NuFX format would be quite idea in a Mac environment as well as the Apple II environment, especially with his GS-specific rendition. He could be on to something there, not to mention quite a profit if his GS-code could easily port over to the Mac.

All of shrinkit-8 and shrinkit gs is written in assembler. I think it would be more realistic to get andy McFadden to port over his nufx packer than for me to port shrinkit.. only because he's got C code and I don't. Besides, I don't have ready access to a mac... and am not entirely sure I want to, either. :-) andy -- Andy Nicholas InterNET: shrinkit@moravian.edu Box 435 uucp: rutgers!liberty!batman!shrinkit Moravian College GEnie: shrinkit Bethlehem, PA 18018 America Online: shrinkit CIS: 70007,3141
