[comp.sys.apple] entry Mac

In my opinion we already have an entry level Mac, it is the GS. Now it doesn't
run MAc software, but what about a coprocessor? Use a 68008, Mac roms (128k)
and 1MB (expandable to 4mb) memory simms and maybe a SCSI port out the back
for independent storage. The card should sell for much less than $1000 say
about the same price as the PC Transporter. This gives you a machine that is
with you from kindergarten to business and you have the option of plugging IBM
in as well if this is necessary. It has expandablity in its slots already.

Eric that would be cool. I think that is the way to get the II users to
eventually migrate into a Mac, or better yet to keep both product lines
strong. This would give the company more growth plus help out us II users.
If an Ms-Dos machine can be put on a card why not a Mac?
