I've got a problem. I've been printing (or trying to) on a very busy appletalk, and I've run into a problem. While someone else is printing, I get the normal message about waiting. Then, it just quits out of the print mode. So I go back in. It prepares the data, and quits again. This happens in every application, so it's not application specific. I was told that when a LaserWriter Plus (which I am printing to) feeds the paper through, it stops sending status for about 5 or 7 seconds. This causes the Print Manager to think that the laserwriter has died. Is this true? Is there an easy way for me to change the timeout period? Like editing a few bytes in the driver? Any help will be appreciated... -Greg T. ======================================================================== * The previous message was brought #ARPANet : gt0t+@andrew.cmu.edu ^ * to you through a grant from CMU #Bitnet:Floyd@Drycas.club.cc.cmu.edu^ * who has graciously taken a hell #Bitnet : y614gt0t@VB.CC.CMU.EDU ^ * of a lot of money from this man. #Can I get one more account??? ^ ========================================================================
