----------------------------Original message----------------------------
We originally planned on sending out the 1st update for HyperStudio shortly
after Boston AppleFest (may), but ran into insurmountable problems with
GSOS 5.0, which the revisions required. We recently got GSOS 5.02 from
Apple, and we are in the process of mailing out the HyperStudio 2.0 update
now.

I just received my Hyperstudio upgrade. It seems worth waiting for,
but I'm wondering what happened to the new documentation that was
promised in the original.

My upgrade included a packet of new pages for the manual as well as the
upgrade instructions for 1- and 2-drive systems.

Did anyone else find that, after carefully following the upgrade
instructions, the resulting HyperStudio disk would crash when booting?
My theory is that either (a) GS/OS 5.02 in the upgrade is bad or (b)
something is wrong with the startup screen display "INIT" process.
I was able to execute the upgraded HS program successfully using a
working GS/OS 5.0 system disk by double-clicking on its icon..
