[comp.sys.apple] What the **** happened?

krb1517@UXF.CSO.UIUC.EDU ("Ken.") (11/13/89)

     I think info-apple got rerouted at our site (uiuc) to comp.sys.apple.
I think they're stopping info-apple distribution. I'd really like to know
what this means, exactly, to which people, e.g. is comp.sys.apple still
going to exist?  Who knows...

PS: This note was aimed at info-apple, which at uiuc us a seperate notesfile
from comp.sys.apple. It's out of context, so I'll clarify:
     What does the dropping of info-apple from brl.mil mean for comp.sys.apple?
I'd like not to lose access to this list! There. Better. :-)

Nothing.  USENET news groups are distributed among USENET hosts;
there is nothing special about the comp.sys.apple newsgroup.

The only impact on comp.sys.apple is that Internet sites will no
longer be able to post to INFO-APPLE and have those postings
automatically copied to the USENET comp.sys.apple newsgroup.
